The thin reddish-brown hue of ripe strawberries is lively and clear.
Like the cut surface of a strawberry, it varies boundlessly from limpid
to dark shades, according to the light. |
| Nose: |
A lovely aroma, as of that which wafts from a large full box of
strawberries. Its sugar has been reduced but the aroma has developed
real breeding, and the character is reminiscent of a Sherry Fino.

| Taste: |
The dry luxuriance of real strawberries has been captured well in
this wine. The round after-sweetness works on the aromatic acid stem
of the wine to make it a suitable accompaniment to melon, digestive
biscuits, and mature cheeses. The wine is also well-suited as a party
drink, since the fleeting sweetness allows the basic character of
strawberries to be tasted and proved. |
