| Colour: | The purple colour, tinged with blue, glitters elegantly against the light. Served in a large glass, it seems almost impenetrably deep and strong. |
| Nose: | The bold flavour of fresh currants spreads out into its surroundings. The rich aroma reminds one of the oil of crushed berry pips. |
| Taste: | The strong taste of blackcurrants, cut with ripe cherries and plums, is aromatic and gives a nice grippy initial tang. It is aromatic enough to be accompanied by highly-flavoured dishes such as smoked reindeer, duck, smoked beef or grilled venison. |
