| Nose: | The strength of the flavour of pure blackcurrants has the crisp tang of the oil of crushed berry pips. |
| Taste: | This powerfully aromatic and tangy wine should be accompanied by strong- tasting salty or sweet dishes. Strong cheeses, like gorgonzola, or sharply peppe- red beef or wild boar, and fatty stews, perhaps with sauerkraut, provide suffi ciently masculine environments to show it off. |
