| Colour: | This liqueur enjoys a bright and clear strawberry-red colour. It swirls attractively and presents a light, fresh impression in the glass. |
| Nose: | The liqueur has a pleasant natural nose, with a slight sweet & caramel accent, leaving the alcohol nicely hidden behind the fruit aromas. The agreeable bouquet supports the lightness of the colour. |
| Taste: | The taste is sweet - tough not overly so - and redolent of srawberries, and it reminds one of the first fresh pickings of early summer. There is something of a candy quality about the liqueur, but it is not abruptly sweet, and it tastes light. The slightly lower than normal alcohol content leaves room for the more delica-te nuances of the fruit. When used as a dessert or to cure a sweet tooth, the liqueur should be well chil-led, though it is not improved by adding ice. As a whole, the drink leaves a youthful image of itself and is nicely in balance with the colour and aroma. It would also be a suitable drink for a toast at more intimate events, like family parties. |
